May 2021 consultation

Cumberland City Council has prepared Landscape Masterplans for Alderson Park and Pitt Park in the South Wentworthville area, and is now seeking your feedback.

The Landscape Masterplans are to guide future work to these parks and include improvements such as:

• Areas for informal sports
• Walking paths and seating
• Playground upgrades
• Fitness stations
• Picnic and barbecue areas
• Amenities building upgrades
• Shade tree planting and garden beds
• Fencing, and more

These parks are within walking distance to each other and the improvements have been designed in ways that the parks complement each other.

During the community consultation period, the residents were encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Submissions were open from Tuesday 11 May - Tuesday 1 June 2021.
