Cumberland Council is giving notification of the proposal of granting a drainage easement through Council’s Reserve in favour of the property to be developed at 15 Hackney Street, Greystanes NSW 2145 (Lot 2 in DP530934). The easement will permit the legal disposal of stormwater into Council’s stormwater system through Council’s Reserve (Darling Street Park, Lot 3 in DP530934, Lot 3 in DP226589 and Lot 3 in DP230865) and is required both to satisfy the drainage requirements of the applicant’s Complying Development Certificate and to enable Council to issue the associated Section 68 approval for the proposed works.
The land affected by the easement is within Lot 3 in DP530934, Lot 3 in DP226589 and Lot 3 in DP230865, which forms part of Council’s larger landholding and will occupy an approximate area of 72.6m² (1.2 metre in width and 60.5 metres in length) for a term in perpetuity.
