Vale Street Park - Playspace Upgrade

We're proposing improvements to Vale Street Park and we want your feedback!Illustration of children's playground in a city park

Every year, Council conducts park improvement projects through various programs to meet the growing needs of our community. Council has prepared a draft concept and has asked the community for feedback on the proposed design for Vale Street Park.

The proposal enhances access to the existing swing set through the delivery of a new accessible path and introduces a new play area adjacent to it. The old playspace will be removed to create a larger turf area for informal play. The new playspace will feature modern play equipment designed to provide a variety of engaging and inclusive play experiences for children of different ages and abilities.

The community consultation period runs from Tuesday 18 November 2025 until Tuesday 16 December 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. The proposed concept design can be found in the Document Library.
