Chamberlain Park - Playspace Upgrade

We're proposing improvements to Chamberlain Park and we want your feedback!Illustration of children's playground in a city park

Every year, Council conducts park improvement projects through various programs to meet the growing needs of our community. Council has prepared a draft concept and has asked the community for feedback on the proposed design for Chamberlain Park.

The proposal includes a new path linking both entry points for improved accessibility. The existing swing sets will stay, and the playground will be relocated to take advantage of natural shade. The new playspace will feature a variety of equipment designed for children of different ages and abilities.

In line with the Prospect Pipeline Corridor Strategic Masterplan, a new cycle rest stop will also be added. This will include a large picnic shelter serving both park visitors and cyclists, bike racks, a bicycle repair station, and a drinking fountain. A safety fence will separate the cycle stop from the play area so everyone can enjoy the space comfortably

The community consultation period runs from Tuesday 18 November 2025 until Tuesday 16 December 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. The proposed concept design can be found in the Document Library.
