  • Specific sites in Auburn and Lidcombe

    Following consideration by Council and the Local Planning Panel in 2021, a Planning Proposal for targeted sites in Auburn and Lidcombe was submitted to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment in late 2021. In its assessment of the proposal, the Department determined that further technical reports were needed in order to understand the impact the proposals would have on their surrounding areas. In response to the Department’s determination, Council has resolved the following:

  • Granville Town Centre and Surrounds

    Did you know maintenance people and door knockers can be scammers in disguise? Always remember to do an ID check and ask questions.

    To report a scam, call the NSW Police Assistance Line on 131 444.

    Council workings with a number of specialised outreach service providers who reach out to assist rough sleepers.

    If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, find a list of Homelessness Services on the Council website.

    Council have a series of multilingual resources to help combat Domestic and Family violence.
