Cumberland Council is giving notification of the proposal of granting a drainage easement through Council’s Reserve in favour of the property to be developed at 7 Ash Street, Greystanes (Lot 33 in DP 221089). This notification is given under Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993.
The easement will permit the legal disposal of stormwater into Council’s stormwater system through Council’s Reserve (Gregory Street Park, Lot 36 in DP 221089) in accordance with Development Application DA2023/0142.
The land affected by the easement is within Lot 36 in DP 221089, which forms part of Council’s larger landholding and will occupy an approximate area of 43.83 square metres (1.5 metres in width and a variable length of 27.99m on its short side and 30.45m on its long side) for a term in perpetuity.

The consultation period runs from Friday 4 April to Monday 5 May 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 5pm Monday 5 May 2025.
