    Thank you to everyone who attended the Back to Guildford Festival on Saturday. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the new upgrades to the Guildford Laneway, the result of our Safer Cities: Her Way consultation.

  • Kitchen 2 Gardens Program

    The Kitchen 2 Gardens program aims to raise awareness of food and garden waste recycling, help residents build resilience and save money by growing vegetables at home. By growing vegetables at home, residents can also reduce food waste and food packaging.

    There will be a FREE compost and vegetable seeds giveaway on Saturday 22 June to help you grow your own veggies. You MUST book into one of the two sessions.

  • Back to Guildford

    Following upgrades to the Guildford Laneway as part of the Safer Cities: Her Way Program, Council will be holding the Back To Guildford Festival to showcase the recent works on Saturday 25 May from 3pm - 9pm.

    The upgrades will include new furniture including tables and benches, installation of smart technology, lighting, CCTV cameras, mobile phone charging stations.

    The public art mural which is part of the upgrade has now been completed.

    Installation of new decorative artwork on the footpath of Macquarie Road will commence in April 2024. The artwork entitled Future Message is made up of a series of designs painted onto the footpath.
