Terms & Conditions - Unauthorised Use
Council is aware that unauthorised use of sports grounds continues to be an issue across the area, whether this occurs through informal permission granted by clubs or through genuine non-hirers accessing the space without approval.
It is essential that all prospective users contact Council directly to arrange formal hire. Unauthorised use can disrupt Council’s maintenance schedules and may lead to conflicts over future bookings. Please remember that final seasonal allocations are determined by Council’s Executive Manager City Operations, taking into account principles of equity, historic usage, and field capacity.
Clubs must encourage any individuals or groups who approach them for access to contact Council directly on (02) 8757 9000. For any unauthorised use of a ground that has been hired, please report this through to Councils Rangers also on (02) 8757 9000.
