Cumberland Council is giving notification of the proposal of granting a drainage easement through Council’s Reserve located at 105E Toongabbie Road Toongabbie (Greystanes Creek Reserve, Lot 58
in DP837421) to permit the legal disposal of stormwater into Council’s stormwater system. This easement is proposed in favour of the adjoining property to be developed at 107 Toongabbie Road,
Toongabbie NSW 2146 (Lot 25 in DP 837421), in accordance with Development Application DA2023/0736. This notification is given under Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993.
The proposed easement is to be granted in perpetuity and will occupy an area of approximately 0.23 m² within Cumberland Council land. The remaining 12.17 m² of the easement falls within Blacktown
City Council’s jurisdiction (Lot 11 in DP 739183), bringing the total easement dimensions to 1 metre in width and 12.4 metres in length.

The consultation period runs from Monday 30 June to Monday 28 July 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 5pm Monday 28 July 2025.
