A pump track is a continuous loop of berms (bends) and rollers (bumps) that can be ridden without pedaling - just by "pumping" through the terrain. It is suitable for bikes and scooters, and offers a great way to build skills, confidence and community.

The track will be designed for all ages and skill levels, from young children to experienced riders. It will be a shared space for bikes and scooters.

Campbell Hill Pioneer Reserve has been identified as an ideal location due to its size, accessibility, and potential to support a vibrant recreational hub. The pump track will complement existing park features and enhance the Reserve’s appeal for families, youth and active users.

The final design will be shaped by community feedback, but it will include a mix of rollers, berms, and safe entry/exit points. It may also include seating, shade and signage, and integrate a replacement of the old basketball half-court.

Yes. The design will include safety signage, clear sightlines, and separation from other park uses. Helmets and protective gear will be strongly encouraged.
