Strategic Cycleway - Corridor 2 - Clyde to Prospect Pipeline (Via Duck River)

Have Your Say on the proposed Clyde to Prospect Pipeline (Via Duck River) Cycleway Design.

Council invites you to give your feedback on the proposed Corridor 2 cycleway design from Clyde Station to the Prospect Pipeline Corridor (via Duck River) as outlined in the Cumberland Walking and Cycling Strategy.

The project includes an on-road cycleway along Factory St between Clyde Station to Seventh Street, ending at New Glasgow Park. The continuous on-road cycleway will provide a dedicated space for people riding bikes and encourage active transport between the train station and Duck River. To facilitate the proposal, the proposed works include installing cycleway line marking and new signage. No changes to parking are proposed in this section.

The corridor then continues along existing infrastructure along Duck River before transitioning to a generally 2.5m wide shared path along Wellington Road, Chisholm Road, Princes Road East and Park Road, Auburn and Reagents Park. The proposed wider shared path will improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and encourage active transport in the area. No changes to parking, trees or the road are proposed.

Council values the opinions and suggestions of the community, and would appreciate your input on the proposed corridor 2 cycleway design from Clyde to Prospect Pipeline (Via Duck River). Your comments are important in the decision-making process.

We encourage you to download a copy of the relevant documents for review from our document library.
