  • July 2024 update - Merrylands CBD works

    Due to the unprecedented wet weather we have been experiencing, works to complete the new stormwater infrastructure under Addlestone Rd near the intersection with Merrylands Road will be extended. It is now estimated that Addlestone Road will be opened to traffic by the end of August 2024 (subject to weather). There will be some instances after August 2024 when the western side of Addlestone Rd (i.e. North bound lane) will need to be closed for a period of time.

  • Temporary Deferral of Local Infrastructure Contributions 2024

    On 1st May 2024, Council resolved to temporarily defer the timing of local infrastructure contributions (Section 7.11 and 7.12) payment that is usually required to be paid prior to the issue of a Construction Certificate. The changes will allow for the timing of payment to be deferred to prior to the issue of the first Occupation Certificate for any part of the development for a 2 year deferral period from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026.
