August 2023 update:
At its meeting on 19 July 2023, Council passed the following motion in relation to the Reseidential Parking Scheme in Lidcombe:
That Council defer the consideration of this matter and that a detailed consultation process be developed in consultation with the community, and report be brought back to Council.

March 2023 update:
Following consideration of submissions received, a report will be prepared by Council officers for consideration by the Cumberland Traffic Committee. Following technical advice from the Committee, a report will then be provided for consideration by Council.
December 2022 update:
Consultation has closed on the Residential Parking Scheme in Lidcombe, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.
November 2022 consultation:
Council at its meeting held on 3 August 2022 resolved that consultation be undertaken for proposed residential car parking scheme (RPS) covering the wider Lidcombe town centre area. The area covers the residential properties within Rawson Street, Maud Street and Yarram Street on the north and Raymond Street East on the south and all streets within.
If an RPS is approved, two Hour (2P) parking signs will be installed in the streets appropriately with exemption to residents with parking permits.

During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to complete the survey and submit their feedback. The consultation period runs from Monday 7 November to Friday 9 December 2022.

- Complete an online survey below.
- Download a copy of the survey and amail it to Council@cumberland.nsw.gov.au
- Download a copy of the survey and post it to The General Manager, Cumberland City Council, PO Box 42, Merrylands NSW 2160.
Opportunity to submit feedback will conclude on Friday 9 December 2022.
