Regents Park Public Domain Concept Plans

Help shape the future of Regents Park!

We want your feedback on the concept plans for two projects that will help shape the future of Regents Park.

The projects include:

  • Amy Street Precinct Upgrades as part of the Australian Government's Thriving Suburbs program, and

  • Regents Park Library Precinct Upgrades as part of Transport for NSW’s reVITALise - Public Tranport Precinct Vibrancy Grant.

Amy Street Precinct

Artist impression of Regents Park town centreFollowing the adoption of the Regents Park Public Domain Plan, Council has prepared concept plans to transform the Amy Street Precinct. The concept plan aims to give the community more public space, better public streets with a range of facilities including outdoor dining opportunities, new tree canopy cover, public art and new street furniture.

The Concept Plans show the landscape design intent and layout for this Precinct.

Council values the opinions and suggestions of the community, and would appreciate your input on the draft designs for the Amy Street Precinct.

We encourage you to view the draft designs for the Amy Street Precinct for review from our document library.

The consultation period runs from Monday 2 June 2025 to Monday 30 June 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the draft designs. Submissions are open until Monday 30 June 2025.

Council is partnering with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to establish a multifaceted approach to active transport and public space placemaking that supports place specific and complementary initiatives to improve the vibrancy, safety and connectivity in and around the Regents Park Library precinct. 

The Concept Plans show the landscape design intent and layout for this Precinct.

 

There are also plans for a mural outside the library and the community hall buildings. You can download a copy of the art mural concepts from the document library. The mural has been submitted for a DA and is subject to approval.

    Council is seeking feedback on the Regents Park Public Domain Concept Plans, and we want to hear from you. The Concept Plans are:

    • Amy Street Precinct
    • Regents Park Library Precinct

    You can give feedback on just one of the concept plans, or on both of them.
