Due to utility delays, works to complete the new stormwater infrastructure under Addlestone Rd near the intersection with Merrylands Road has seen significant delays.

It is now estimated that Addlestone Road will be opened to traffic by the end of July 2024 (subject to weather). There will be some instances after July 2024 when the western side of Addlestone Rd (ie north bound lane) will need to be closed for a period of time.

The works along western side of Addlestone Road will commence once necessary approvals from Endeavour Energy are in-place. This part of the works is likely is be completed by November 2024 which is when Addlestone Road will be permanently and fully opened to two-way traffic.
