Cumberland Heritage Interpretation Signage

Council invites you to have your say on the Cumberland Heritage Interpretation Signage proposed for eight (8) sites across the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA).

The new interpretation signage aims to showcase Cumberland’s legacy and enhance local and state heritage awareness through the development of heritage interpretation signage and digital sorytelling.

The signage is proposed at the following locations:

1. Federation Cottage, 42 Lane Street, Wentworthville

2. Main gate, Boral, Greystanes Road, Pemulwuy

3. Goodlet and Smith Brickworks Site, 23-25 Brickworks, Drive Holroyd

4. Granville Town Hall, 10 Carlton Street, Granville

5. Granville Memorial Park, 1 Memorial Drive, Granville

6. Colquhoun Park, 196 Blaxcell Street, South Granville

7. Haslam’s Creek Bridge, Parramatta Road, Lidcombe

8. Central Gardens, 71 Paton Street, Merrylands West

Council values the voices of our community and is inviting residents to share their thoughts on the Cumberland Heritage Interpretation Signage, proposed for eight (8) sites across the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA).

Community consultation will be undertaken from Monday 1 June 2026 to Sunday 28 June 2026.

During this consultation period, the community is encouraged to submit their feedback on the proposed new interpretation signage.

Anyone wishing to provide feedback on the signage was to do so in writing by 11:59pm, Sunday 28 June 2026.

How to lodge your submission

There are three (3) ways to provide feedback:

  1. Complete an online submission below

  2. Email your submission to council@cumberland.nsw.gov.au please quote CS-200 when submitting your submission
