Council invited the community to provide feedback on planning for the future of Lidcombe.
The Joseph Street Precinct Plan forms part of the Lidcombe Town Centre Public Domain Plan, which has been prepared by Cumberland City Council to guide the delivery of consistently high-quality public realm to promote the revitalisation of Lidcombe Town Centre.
Joseph St Precinct will be transformed to a vibrant ‘Eat Street’ supported by outdoor dining areas, upgraded footpaths and pedestrian crossing points, new street tree planting and greenery to provide colour and shade with opportunities for the integration of public art.
