Cumberland Council is giving notification of the proposal of granting a drainage easement through part of Council owned land located at 36A Hampden Road South Wentworthville NSW 2145 (Mujar Reserve, Lot 96 in DP 848384) to permit the legal disposal of stormwater into Council’s stormwater system. This easement is proposed in favour of the adjoining property to be develop at 36 Hampden Road South Wentworthville NSW 2145 (Lot 95 in DP 848384), in accordance with the Complying Development Certificate CDC2025/0603 and the relevant Section 68 approval, to carry out stormwater drainage works. This notification is given under Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993.

The land affected by the easement is within Lot 96 in DP 848384 which forms part of Council’s larger landholding and will occupy an approximate area of 3.75m (1.25 metres in width and approximately 3.0 metres in length) for a term of perpetuity.

The consultation period runs from Thursday 2 April 2026 to Friday 1 May 2026. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 5pm, Friday 1 May 2026.
